This morning on the blog I’m stopping by to share a pretty layout I recently completed using the Flutter collection from Fancy Pants Designs. I’ve told you before in a previous post that I just love this collection, I love the colours….so I was determined to do another layout using it. Maybe another one yet too! I picked up this layout at my favourite LSS, My Stamping Studio in Windsor, NS. I’m heading down there this week for my birthday road trip actually! Look out Kelly, here I come!!
For this layout I decided to highlight a single photograph which I really cherish. It’s all the women, except for Grammie (90) and my SIL Jin who’s in Ottawa, on Mom’s side of the family. We aren’t often all together anymore it seems, as lives are very busy, but on this night we were and we were all dressed up so it was a great photo opp. We got together to go out to the dinner theatre and celebrate my Mom’s 65th birthday.
Here’s what I came up with, I really like the flower in the lower right hand corner. :
Aside from the papers and embellishments provided in the package by Fancy pants Designs, I used a pink ribbon from my stash, buttons and a cream doily also from my stash, foam dots, coordinating cardstock and inspiration from my friend Tracy McLennon, scrapbooker extraordinaire.
